Everyone knows how important it is to take care of the physical body. We learn from an early age to eat right, exercise, brush our teeth and wash our bodies.
What I didn’t realize until I started receiving energy healing (and then became a practitioner myself) is that energetic hygiene, the act of clearing our energy field (aura) and our chakras, is equally as important as physical care.
Let me explain.
Every thought, deed, and action that you put out into the world and is put upon you, gets imprinted in your energetic field and chakras. Over time, this buildup of uncleared energy starts to feel heavy. I always tell people, we are all carrying a 20 pound energetic backpack of crap around from all of life’s experiences and stressors!
Most of us carry this around until the heaviness of our lives becomes too much a burden to carry. This can show up as physical, emotional or mental pain and/or symptoms.
As we get older, we forget how good we are supposed to feel. We don’t realize that we are supposed to feel happy, vibrant and light.
”I feel so light!” is the most common feedback I receive from my clients.
Because just like the dentist deep cleans your teeth, I deep clean your energy. And just like you can feel the space between your teeth after a deep cleaning from your dentist, you too can feel the space in your body, mind and spirit after receiving energy healing!

The importance of energetic hygiene can not be stressed enough! Just like you wash your physical body, you must energetically ‘wash’ your energetic body. Below are some of my favorite energy healing practices:
