Are you ready to heal?
It is really a deep and personal question, I know.
Revealing aspects of yourself that need healing takes courage.
You know when you clean out your closet, you take everything out and there is a giant mess on the floor? You need to sort through what you no longer need, what doesn't fit, what you are able to part with, and what you absolutely love.
You then have to put the items into piles- donation, garbage, and what is going back into your closet. You then have to fold and organize what is going back in. You have to bag up the donations and trash and take them to where they need to go.
Whew! This takes time and effort!
And you know those things that you think you need? You rationalize that you spent a lot of money on it... or it was a great deal...or it has sentimental value but no longer fits or is stained?
Healing is similar to cleaning out your closet! And the closet has so many dimensions- physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and karmic. It is layers of onion. As we peel back the layers, we reveal more healing that is needed and deeper pain and trauma that is buried there.
This my friends, is an act of bravery and great courage. Coming to terms with what hasn't been working in your life is a process- it can get a little messy but is worth it!
Once you start the process, miracles start coming into your life. You reconnect to your soul - remembering who you really are! You start to recognize your true power and the synchronicity of the universe.
The above example is a metaphor for energy healing but did you know that the physical act of clearing out your home can dramatically shift your mind-set and instantly reset your life?
In this week's Energy Healing Toolkit, I share with you a very simple energy healing practice- cleaning up your space. I literally shifted my energy to a higher vibration by concentrating my efforts and going all in. Once you decide to tidy up your space in one shot, rather than little by little, you can dramatically change your vibration too.
In private sessions, we delve deeper into your energy, goals and needs. We can work together in person or over Zoom. The result is the same!
In-person healing sessions are offered in Woodbury, Long Island.
Thanks for taking this journey with me.

The Life Changing Power of Clearing Your Physical Space
I know what you are thinking- "Holy Crap, Marci!"
Yes, that was the healing studio before the major purge! It also is my basement- the energetic foundation of my house. Needless to say, it was a disaster. And it had an heavy energetic effect on me (and my children).
I am not a hoarder and a lot of it was tucked inside of closets...my files from 7 years of being an elementary school teacher, a crib, books, etc. It was a place that was dark and a mess and I couldn't stand to even open the door. But once I made up my mind, there was no stopping me!
And after filling a whole truck with garbage and donations, I felt a lightness to my whole house! I then worked for two weeks straight, painting the entire space with the help of my best friend, Leora. Even though I had never painted a room in my life, it FELT SO GOOD! I felt like the energy in my whole house shifted. Your 'stuff' holds energy and unless it is bringing you joy, it is bringing your vibration down!
Tips to get you started: *Use the energy of the Autumnal Equinox as a catalyst to clear. Autumn is a season of balance. With the Equinox, the amount of daylight and darkness are equal in length. It is also a time when you can restore balance into your own life. This is the energy of the season- harness it!
*Visualize what you want your space to feel and look like. Think in concrete terms so you can vividly picture what it would feel like to live in a less cluttered space. For me, I wanted a healing studio - a space where my clients could come to relax, unwind and heal. I wanted zen and peaceful. This was the guiding force for my purge.
*Commit to one day where you will devote the ENTIRE day to clearing out your ENTIRE space. Some people think doing a little here and a little there is the way to go. I am advocating to just do it all at once! It is very cathartic and the shift in energy is profound.
*You will need to prepare for this day. You will need to buy huge contractor bags. In my case, I arranged for one truck that hauled off the garbage and donated the usable items. If need be, you can enlist help and arrange for childcare.
*Once this day comes, you need to discard whatever doesn't serve the feeling you want this space to serve. I asked myself, "Is this going to promote a feeling off relaxation, zen and healing?" Another way to look at this is to pick up each item and ask, 'Does this spark joy?' If it does, keep it. If not, dispose of it.
*Once you clear out your space, you can then decide where you want things to go. This is a whole other topic... :)
** Please note: I had cleared out the other two floors of my home six months before I cleared the basement. There wasn't enough room in the truck to get into all of the nooks and crannies of the basement. During that clearing, I literally was on the floor crying to my mother as I was throwing out mementos from my marriage. I felt a huge relief then, but it wasn't until I did the final clearing of the energetic foundation of my life - the basement - did radical change manifest in my life. Since clearing the basement, my career and personal life have taken enormous leaps forward.
***Recently, I read the book The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo. I guess I unconsciously followed her advice without ever reading the book. Some of her tips are blended into my own advice above. I encourage you to use this list as a launching off place. Please read her book for further inspiration and a more in-depth recommendation on de-cluttering and organization.
